Cosby Member wins the Maulsbank at Carnoustie !
Monday 13th May 2024
Ashley Brown, a Cosby Member since 2017, fended off an international field to win the prestigious Maulsbank Trophy. This nett competition runs alongside the Tassie (scratch) and is held annually at Carnoustie.. Congratulations to Ashley, this is quite an achievement winning an international, multi format event at one of Britain's most difficult golf courses! Well done Ashley. Pictured below is Ashley (with his trophy) and also a picture of Ashley with Gary Hubble. Gary won the same event in 20119. Well done Gary! Two Cosby winners at Carnoustie!

Driving Range _ Volunteers : Monday 15th April 2024
Friday 12th April 2024
Your Club Needs You! Volunteers to come up to the range on Monday 15th April 2024, between 8am - 11am to dig out the plugged balls. The range will be closed during this time and will re-open at approximately 1pm to allow time for grass cutting after ball picking. There will be a hot drink and bacon cob afterwards say thank you. We look forward to seeing you on Monday.

Volunteers to dig out range balls

Save the NEW date! Friday 15th March 2024 : To coincide with Maintenance Week we are looking for volunteers to come up to the range on Friday 15th March 2024, between 7.30 - 11.00 am to help dig out the plugged golf balls on the driving range. The range will be closed during this time and will re-open at approximately 12 noon, once the collected balls are back in circulation. Many thanks in advance for your support and apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Cosby Member Recognised in 2024 New Year Honours List

It is with great pride we report that Cosby GC Member, James McLean, has been recognised in the 2024 New Year Honours List . James, Joint Regional Chief Nurse for NHS England in the North West and former Deputy Chief Nurse for Programme Delivery at Health Education England, receives an MBE for services to Nursing. Congratulations James!
