Cosby Member wins the Maulsbank at Carnoustie !
Monday 13th May 2024
Ashley Brown, a Cosby Member since 2017, fended off an international field to win the prestigious Maulsbank Trophy. This nett competition runs alongside the Tassie (scratch) and is held annually at Carnoustie.. Congratulations to Ashley, this is quite an achievement winning an international, multi format event at one of Britain's most difficult golf courses! Well done Ashley. Pictured below is Ashley (with his trophy) and also a picture of Ashley with Gary Hubble. Gary won the same event in 20119. Well done Gary! Two Cosby winners at Carnoustie!

Cosby Member Recognised in 2024 New Year Honours List

It is with great pride we report that Cosby GC Member, James McLean, has been recognised in the 2024 New Year Honours List . James, Joint Regional Chief Nurse for NHS England in the North West and former Deputy Chief Nurse for Programme Delivery at Health Education England, receives an MBE for services to Nursing. Congratulations James!
Annual General Meeting - Sunday 4th February 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Cosby Golf Club Ltd Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday, 4 February 2024 in the Clubhouse commencing at 6pm. The AGM is a formal business meeting for members entitled to attend. For those members who are entitled to vote but unable to attend the meeting Proxy votes are allowed and encouraged and are a way in which you can support your club and make your views known. All members with voting entitlement are encouraged to use their vote either by attending in person or using their proxy vote. All members of Cosby Golf Club are entitled to vote with the exception of: Junior members under the age of 18, flexible members, associate members, and corporate members. Any proposed resolutions or nominations are to be submitted to the office on or before Thursday 4 January 2024. Formal notification has been communicated to members and the schedule for the AGM arrangements can once again be found here. Two documents are published on the noticeboard in the clubhouse entrance, these are: AGM 2024 Nomination Sheet AGM 2024 Board Proposal Please note that if you wish to make a nomination it will need to be made on the paper forms published in the entrance to the club. Once the deadline of Thursday 4 January 2024 has passed the opportunity to make a nomination or to make a member proposal cease. The AGM Booklet with Annual Reports will be published on or before Saturday 20 January 2024 in preparation for the AGM.
