I am Jo Pepper the Ladies’ Captain for 2013 and I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our website.
Cosby Golf Club has a warm, friendly and active ladies’ section which provides a good mix of both social and competitive golf. Our aim is to meet the golfing requirements of all our ladies and of all abilities. This year our Scratch team won promotion to Division 1 of the Leicestershire & Rutland Ladies County Golf Association and our Handicap League team were promoted to Division 3. We also have 12 friendly inter club matches throughout the year.
The ladies’ section currently comprises 70 friendly and enthusiastic lady members, together with 8 junior girls and 3 intermediates, across a wide range of handicap levels, many of whom regularly participate in ladies’ competitions. Our domestic competitions take place on Tuesdays, Saturdays and/or Sundays, together with the opportunity to play in many any combination competitions.
We welcome and actively encourage new members to join our friendly section and if you are interested in joining us please contact our secretary, pro-shop or myself. The ladies’ section is always keen to extend its membership and will warmly welcome all enquiries, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced golfer.
